Beyond that, this story deliberately states very little. No graduand number has been verified. No honorary-degree recipient has been established from the sources seen — an honorary-degree item dated 14 October named no recipient in the text available. No attendance by President William Ruto has been verified in same-day reporting, and none is claimed. The final graduation list was set out in a memo dated 19 October from the Academic Registrar, Prof. Peter Njuru; names and registration numbers from it must not be reproduced.
