Rongo University is set to host the Sustain Africa Forum from Tuesday 3 to Friday 6 November 2026, under the theme "Reimagining Africa's Future", according to the university's listings dated 12 October 2026.

The programme, speakers and registration details were not stated in the listing seen, and none are invented here. Students planning to attend should check the university's own channels for the programme.

A second, separate event is also announced at the same university: the Africa SDGs Dialogue Forum 2026, organised by TEAMEnvironment Kenya in partnership with Rongo University and the Migori County Government, running Tuesday 1 to Friday 4 December 2026, from 9am to 4pm daily, under the theme "Reimagining Africa Beyond 2030, Climate Action for Sustainable Development", according to a LinkedIn announcement dated 26 October 2026.

In sporting news from the same campus: Rongo student Marvel Laurah Oswago was part of the Kenya Lionesses squad that won the Safari Sevens title on the weekend of 10–11 October, the university celebrated on 12 October. The Lionesses' result is stated as the university reported it; the match scores were not given in the listing seen.

Rongo also ran an Erasmus+ student exchange call with Philipps-Universität Marburg, Germany, for the 2026/2027 academic year, announced 7 October, and hosted a collaborative session with a Marburg delegation on sustainable transformation, at which Vice Chancellor Prof. Samuel Gudu received the visitors. The application deadline and outcome of the exchange call were not stated in the listings seen.

What we could not verify: the Sustain Africa Forum programme, speakers or registration details; the SDGs Dialogue Forum programme beyond its theme and dates; the Erasmus+ call deadline or outcome; any Rongo-specific resumption notice dated 29–31 October.
