Egerton University has published its 50th provisional graduation list: 3,460 graduands cleared by the Senate for the ceremony on Friday 27 November 2026, according to the university's notice dated 27 October 2026.

Fees clearance for the graduands closed on Friday 30 October 2026. The list itself is published on the university's website. Campus Pulse does not reproduce names or registration numbers from graduation lists.

In the same week, Egerton sent four fourth-year BSc Ecotourism and Hospitality Management students to the Future Leaders Challenge Eastern Africa 2026 at Strathmore University, held 25–27 October: Elizabeth Mwikali Daniel, Salimu Akiba Ropia, Terian Ndanu Mwenga and Hamisi Alfan Mwavumo. Acting Vice Chancellor Prof. George Muthaa joined the delegation. The challenge is covered in full in draft 43.

Egerton's Freshers' Night was set for 30 October, according to a student association memo dated 19 October signed by Wickliffe Majiwa. Whether it took place, and how it went, has not been verified and is not claimed here.

Two further items appeared only as listings on the university's speeches page and were not opened in full: an item stating Egerton will host the 2027 World Ploughing Championship, dated 30 October, and an item on senior management changes with Prof. George Muthaa assuming the Acting Vice Chancellor role, dated 31 October. Their detail is unverified and is not stated here beyond their existence as listings.
