USIU-Africa students are being asked to come together for families who have recently been affected by fires.

The Epidemiology and Biostatistics Club, in partnership with Plan International x Young Health, is collecting clothes for community members who have recently been affected by fires, according to a poster and caption supplied to Campus Pulse.

Donations of clothes for both children and adult sizes are welcome. The caption says every contribution counts and can make a real difference to a family in need.

The community members are part of the organisation's health promotion outreach programme, according to the poster.

The drop-off point is the SHSS Lobby. Donations are to be made by Friday, 13 November 2026.

For more information, the caption lists Catherine Nuwagira on 0746596663 and Maria Kamsi on 0745082834. The poster lists the same numbers under the names Nuwagira Catherine and Kamsi Maria.

Let us show our community some love.
