The Linda Mwananchi tour reached Kwale on Saturday — and the afternoon produced three verified moments, even as no concluded report of the 3pm Ukunda Showground rally itself has been published.

First, Sifuna defended Ida Odinga. Speaking in Kwale, Sifuna accused a section of ODM leaders of insulting Raila Odinga's widow, People Daily reported on Saturday afternoon. The report attributes the remarks to Sifuna speaking in Kwale; the exact wording of the wider speech was not published in the text seen.

Second, Sifuna warned his own movement's leaders. At the Kwale meeting, he told Linda Mwananchi leaders that without discipline the movement was going nowhere, Capital FM reported, in a report published at 11:44am on Saturday. 'Today is Kwale's day,' he said, according to that report, and he said Kwale leaders should set the route and programme, with local issues first — mineral exploitation and water shortages. He thanked residents for turning up in large numbers, in his words. That is his claim, not an independent crowd count: no attendance figure has been verified.

Third, the road itself became part of the story. Sifuna posted about the Kinango–Kwale Town road, describing potholes and waterlogged sections, and saying the convoy would get there 'God willing', according to People Daily's report of his post. The photograph with this story shows the road as he posted it.

Separately, in Kinango, former Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya told the tour that Linda Mwananchi was confident of defeating President William Ruto in 2027 without going to the Supreme Court, TUKO reported on Saturday afternoon — saying the movement would tally votes itself and wait at State House for the IEBC announcement, in his words as reported. He also accused some Kwale leaders of prioritising personal interests. Those are Natembeya's claims as reported, not findings.

What happened at Ukunda after 3pm — closing remarks, any resolutions, the size of the crowd — remains unverified. No concluded Ukunda Showground rally report was found at the time of writing, and no attendance figure is stated here.

What we could not verify: a concluded report of the Ukunda rally; Sifuna's closing remarks; any attendance or turnout figure; the verbatim text of Sifuna's Kwale speech beyond the lines quoted as reported; the exact wording of Sifuna's road post beyond the summary reported. The cover photograph's location rests on its source caption, as stated in the credit.
