Chuka University are the inaugural Women's KUSF Emerging Sports flag football champions after finishing the tournament with three wins and one draw.

Captain Nancy Moseti led a team Chuka built entirely from scratch. She was spotted by Coach Baha at a flag-football launch at Meru University, earned a national-team trials shot at JKUAT, made the cut for the Kenya women's squad, and won bronze with Team Kenya at the 2026 NFL Africa Continental championship in Nairobi.

"Going from training with Team Kenya to coming back to Chuka, training the players, and eventually captaining the team at nationals has been a very fulfilling journey," Moseti said.

Chuka's title run earned them the title of Inaugural Women's KUSF Emerging Sports Champions, in a campaign the Kenya Flag American Football Federation described as no flash in the pan.

Getting the university administration on board required proving serious commitment, Moseti said, and the team built itself from the ground up after her return from the national team.
