The Technical University of Kenya (TU-K) will hold its 16th graduation ceremony on Tuesday 24 November 2026 at 07:45 a.m. at the University Graduation Square.
The ceremony will be streamed live online via the university website, YouTube, X and Facebook, for graduands' families and friends who cannot attend in person, according to the university's official announcement.
Graduands must complete their clearance by Monday 16 November 2026, settling fees, clearing online and fulfilling all academic requirements. Students who missed previous graduations must complete an Alternative Reinstatement process by the same deadline.
Graduation fees are KSh 5,000 for Certificate, Diploma and Bachelor's graduands, and KSh 6,500 for Postgraduate graduands. Academic regalia will be collected from 18 to 20 November, with a return deadline and late penalties after the ceremony. A mandatory rehearsal will be held on Monday 23 November at 10:00 a.m., and graduands have been asked to verify the spelling of their names on their certificates.
The university has also published a revised 2026/2027 academic calendar, dated 3 November, to recover the four weeks lost to the staff unions' industrial action. First Semester runs from September 2026 to January 2027, Second Semester from January to May 2027, and Third Semester — Industry-Based Learning and recess — from May to September 2027.
TU-K will also host its Research Week 2026, culminating in the 5th International Conference, from 16 to 20 November in Nairobi, under the theme "Building Integrated Ecosystems Beyond 2030: The Role of Technology, Training and Governance".
